HAZARDOUS WASTE

Waste Transfer Station Licence Numbers 50434 and 53823, both are located at Bury.

We employ ADR qualified drivers for safe removal of your hazardous waste. They are able to remove and transport all your waste including asbestos, oil, certain inks, paints, batteries, solvents, diesel, other fuel, and weee goods including fridges, computers and fluorescent tubes.

Deep burial for contaminated food can also be arranged for you.

Our transfer stations are licenced for a variety of hazardous waste, but for items that aren’t covered, we can source a licenced disposal route.

All hazardous waste must have a consignment note and usually require a premises code (This is issued by the Environment Agency for one year to cover that particular premises)

We can provide both a consignment note and a premises code.

The Environment Agency regularly audit our site, systems, procedures and administration.

Oldham Transfer Station is not licenced for hazardous waste.
